A tyre's wet grip capacity is expressed in Grades from A to E. The difference in braking distances between each grade is roughly 3m - an average car length.

The Hankook Vantra Transit RA58 is a summer tyre for vans. This tyre consists of 3D GripKontrol Sipes. These pieces interlock to maintain firmness in the central tread blocks during braking. The Vantra Transit RA58 has three tread grooves that run from the front of the tyre to the back. These grooves also work to push water away from the tyre’s contact patch. The Vantra Transit RA58 has a reinforced casing that aids the sidewall of the tyre in sustaining numerous strikes from urban kerbs. The Hankook Vantra Transit RA58 replaced the Hankook Vantra LT RA18 in 2021, making it a part of Hankook’s European commercial range.
