The Goodyear EfficientGrip 2 SUV is a premium SUV summer tyre with longer lifetime tread design featuring a flexible rubber layer to withstand the creation of small cracks by rough roads. Goodyear's Mileage Plus Technology keeps the rubber flexible at different temperatures and helps the tread resist fractures. Large centres and ribs assist the tyre’s structure during cornering. Front to back grooves direct water away from the tread that is in contact with the road. Wet Braking technology employs a lower stiffness compound that gives the blocks flexibility to release water from the grooves.

Goodyear claims that the EfficientGrip 2 SUV has 25% more mileage over the old EfficientGrip SUV. Some variants have the extra load (XL) sidewall marking, indicating reinforced XL construction for heavy fitment SUVs. At Tyres.co.uk, the Goodyear EfficientGrip 2 SUV is available for purchase.

I wanted reasonable winter tyres and these are okay, but I expected a little more. They do the job reasonably well, but they don't feel great on icy patches. It's a varied experience I guess.

I have been really impressed with these tyres. They provide great traction and handle beautifully in the snow. I feel much safer driving the kids around when it's bad weather than when I had all season tyres and I had to put up with winter driving.

The winter performance of these Goodyear EfficientGrip 2 SUV tyres has been fantastic. Cold and wet road traction has been far better than competitors. Compared to my previous set of tyres, which were far less dependable, these tyres have changed how I drive.
