The Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 is a high-performance summer tyre designed to quickly disperse standing water. With a V-TRED directional pattern, the GS-D3 guides water through V-shaped grooves before clearing it from the tread centre. With arrow-shaped grooves that extend from the tread centre to the outer tread edge, the GS-D3 must be mounted in the indicated direction of rotation. Goodyear’s Active CornerGrip Technology adds rubber to the road in response to cornering forces.

The GS-D3 is constructed of Goodyear’s Silica Plus, a rubber compound that retains wet-road grip. The sidewall arrow of this directional tyre indicates the tyre’s rotation, and therefore should point to the front of the vehicle. You can find the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 available on Tyres.co.uk.

It has excellent grip on puddled and wet roads and still feels the same as good as any other road tyre when the roads are dry. The sidewalls are a little on the firm side, making good steering feedback.

Positive: Complimenting your grip and reliability is formidable braking performance in the rain. Turning and steering response is very good. Negative: There is some noise at higher speeds and the softer compound of the improved cornering may result in increased wear (I managed 10,000 miles on my 200sx).

They were cheaper than Toyo tyres. They are good tyres as they have solid grip on wet and dry conditions. The tyre wall flexes too much causing the car to feel odd. I wouldn't buy them again as Toyo tyres were better.

The difference compared to my previous Michelin Pilot Exalto tyres is phenomenal. Cornering is drastically better, far more stable and secure. I'm very glad I had them fitted before the ever-changing British summer!
