Product description & features

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 is a summer tyre focused on improving performance during wet conditions with an innovative asymmetric design. Goodyear claims that the innovation is that the design allows the rubber to hammer tiny bits of the wet road, increasing contact, and therefore, friction. It is also designed to guide the water away from the centre grooves to improve dry performance. The outer edge of the design has large blocks that provide support when cornering.

The Asymmetric 6 replaced the Asymmetric 5 in 2022. Goodyear also claims that their SoundComfort Technology are tyre inserts made of polyurethane that help absorb and lower the noise caused by the air moving in and out of the tyre. Tyres.co.uk sells the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6, SoundComfort editions included.

Tyre review for Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 6) 255/50R19 107T XL
These are my third Assy 6 tyres. For a summer tyre, they are great at gripping wet roads. The former owner had Michelin PS5s on, but the change to these tyres has made a very clear difference in performance.

Tyre review for Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 6) 255/50R19 107T XL
Good performance in both wet and dry conditions. I feel comfortable and in control with these tyres. I had a previous version of these tyres that wore evenly and lasted a long time. I am excited to put them on the car again. I will say that they do struggle in the snow without grit.
