The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 is a summer tyre focused on improving performance during wet conditions with an innovative asymmetric design. Goodyear claims that the innovation is that the design allows the rubber to hammer tiny bits of the wet road, increasing contact, and therefore, friction. It is also designed to guide the water away from the centre grooves to improve dry performance. The outer edge of the design has large blocks that provide support when cornering.

The Asymmetric 6 replaced the Asymmetric 5 in 2022. Goodyear also claims that their SoundComfort Technology are tyre inserts made of polyurethane that help absorb and lower the noise caused by the air moving in and out of the tyre. Tyres.co.uk sells the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6, SoundComfort editions included.

When I received my car in December, it was equipped with what were supposed to be new Michelin PS5s, but they became out-banded by January or February. From my conversations around the workplace and friends, I often got recommended the Goodyear Asymmetric 6 tyres. Having had them for my car for a few months, I can say the grip is astounding. The performance is greatly improved, and the overall driving experience is awesome. I will definitely be buying them again, and I have already recommended them to a lot of people.
