The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 is a summer tyre focused on improving performance during wet conditions with an innovative asymmetric design. Goodyear claims that the innovation is that the design allows the rubber to hammer tiny bits of the wet road, increasing contact, and therefore, friction. It is also designed to guide the water away from the centre grooves to improve dry performance. The outer edge of the design has large blocks that provide support when cornering.

The Asymmetric 6 replaced the Asymmetric 5 in 2022. Goodyear also claims that their SoundComfort Technology are tyre inserts made of polyurethane that help absorb and lower the noise caused by the air moving in and out of the tyre. Tyres.co.uk sells the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6, SoundComfort editions included.

It is truly difficult to lose traction with these tyres since they have fantastic grip. They also seem quite durable since I have not had any issues yet. I fully trust these tyres because they do not aquaplaning at all so I have no worries about them in wet weather. The only downside is they are quite noisy. I used to have these at the back before switching the front ones and they are definitely the loudest.
