The Goodride Suptrac X1 is designed for summer use. It’s a highly innovative passenger-car tyre that uses a highly-engineered symmetrical tread design to move water. The Suptrac X1 has four continuous grooves that run around the tread to remove water from the tyre’s contact patch. There are also multiple cuts in the tread leading to the outer edge of the tyre which assist in directing water to the outer edge as well as slits in the inner blocks that increase the tyre’s grip on wet surfaces. The outer edge blocks form a continuous band to aid in steering and high speed stability. The Suptrac X1’s tread compound is an advanced silicate rubber that reduces rolling resistance while increasing grip on wet surfaces.
The Suptrac X1 has an asymmetrical tread design and therefore must be mounted with the sidewall marked Outside on the outer edge of the vehicle. This also places the continuous outer blocks supportive of the design in outer edge of the vehicle. The Suptrac X1 is designed for use in the spring, summer and fall and is best suited for use when the ambient temperature is above 7 degrees. Tyres.co.uk sells the Goodride Suptrac X1.
