The Firestone FS424E is a steer-axle tyre designed for regional and motorway usage. The FS424E is designed for stability and consistent wear. The ribbed tread is comprised of continuous bands that run around the tyre and aid straight line steering when loads are applied. Wide grooves with ribbed treads provide channels for water to be evacuated from the tyre. The slits provide additional edges for traction on damp surfaces. The tread design is intended to distribute the load across the tread surface.
The design of the commercial casing is intended to withstand the requirements of daily commercial haulage and is designed to be retreaded for further usage. This characteristic is especially beneficial for fleets wishing to extend the tread life on its casing. Tyres.co.uk has the Firestone FS424E in stock.
