The Dunlop SP SportMaxx GT is a summer tyre designed for high speed stability with a tread optimised for fast cornering and Kevlar sidewall reinforcement. The tread features a blocky outer edge for cornering with a more open inner edge for water clearance. The steering is aided with sidewall reinforcement as cornering forces resist flex.

Extensive use of Multi Radius Tread means the curvature of the tread is optimised throughout the width of the tyre. Dunlop Self Supporting Technology is featured on some sizes; it is a construction technique that allows the sidewall to support the vehicle during a loss of pressure to assist runflat capability. Outstanding performance in any weather and in off-road conditions. Although these tyres are rated worse than my previous ones for fuel savings, they have still saved me more on fuel. They are also rated for high speed performance, tested in Germany.
