The Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 050 is a summer tyre with emphasis on maximum performance with the use of advanced technology. It facilitates fast cornering and increased grip in wet conditions. The asymmetric tyre consists of large blocks on the outer part and water channelling design on the inner side. The outer side of the tyre has an eastern edge construction firm base. The SP Sport Maxx 050 has a Silica Plus compound that increases strength on both dry and wet surfaces as well as reducing wear. The SP Sport Maxx 050 is made using a Band Technology to provide consistency on high speeds with minimised expansion of the tyre.
The Multi Radius Tread Technology has a combination of several curves instead of one radius for distribution of pressure on the tread and improves the cornering ability. The company has also developed the SP Sport Maxx 050+, which is a high performance summer tyre as the next generation of the Sport Maxx 050.
