The Dunlop SP Sport FastResponse is a premium summer tyre designed for swift steering response at high speeds on the motorway. These tyres feature an asymmetric tread with separated dry-road and wet-weather components. An uninterrupted centre rib aids in the steadiness of steering during the changing of directions, while the large outer blocks assist in cornering. Dunlop’s Jointless Belt is an under-tread, continuous reinforcement layer that assists the tyre in maintaining its shape at higher speeds.
The tyre elements that perform the braking function are referred by Dunlop as Shorter Braking Blocks. These blocks, in their shortened form, create an increased concentration of braking pressure on the road surface. The summer compound is for a temperature use range above, and is intended for use above, approximately 7°C. This compound places the FastResponse in the warm-weather range of Dunlop.
