The SP Sport 9000 is a summer tyre from Dunlop. The tyre makes use of directional tread pattern that has beams-like blocks which help in cornering and also removal of water. This combined with Dunlop’s Silica Plus provides summer traction. Dunlop’s Jointless Band Technology makes use of a continuous nylon band which helps to give support to the tyre’s shape at high speeds. Blocks provide for steering and loads while cornering.
DSST structure designation means that it includes a reinforced sidewall which enables the tyre to be able to drive for some distance even without air pressure. Usually, DSST is written on the side of the tyre to enable consumers to understand that there is DSST technology on the tyre, hence helping to maintain sidewall uniformity.
