The SP Sport 01 from Dunlop has a 3-zone tread design with an emphasis on performance and driving comfort. The asymmetric design helps decrease road noise. The Silica-Plus compound helps maintain wet surface grip. Dunlop developed Sport 01's inner tread to assist in clearing water from the tread surface. The outer tread blocks are firmness reinforced to assist in cornering. Dunlop uses their Jointless Band Technology to place a continuous layer of tread support to help the Sport 01 retain its shape at high speed. Sport 01’s side walls are supported and reinforced where Dunlop's Self-Supporting Technology allows for a loss in air pressure. Tyres.co.uk sells the Dunlop SP Sport 01 including runflat styles.

I have been very happy with my purchase so far, all the way up to 1000 miles. The road noise has decreased, and handling when cornering has become more precise with an increase in grip. In addition, these new tyres are better than my old ones when it comes to wet weather performance.

Superb tyre. I noticed a clear difference from my old Bridgestone Potenza's. The car is more responsive, and I've also seen improvements in fuel economy since I got them.

The downside is their short lifespan, lasting only 7 months or 6,000 to 7,000 miles, but the tyres provide great grip in both wet and dry conditions, as well as a little traction in snow when using a four-wheel drive.
