A stronger sidewall lets this tyre carry more weight than a standard tyre of the same size. Marked XL on the sidewall.
Built to handle both summer and winter conditions, so the same tyres can stay on all year instead of being swapped twice.
The Delmax X-Weather II 4S is an all-season passenger car tyre built with a directional tread pattern along with fine tread cuts designed to cope with wet, cold, and lightly wintry conditions. The pattern works to remove water from the tread surface in contact with the road, and aids wintry rain braking and steering. The block slits are intended to aid wintry traction. Because the pattern is directional, the tyre should be mounted with the directional mark side wall in the right rotation for the pattern.
The tyre is designed to wear evenly, given correctly maintained pressure and alignment with the vehicle. The compound balance along with the tread design is intended to lower rolling resistance for effective energy use during short trips throughout the year. The Delmax X-Weather II 4S is available from Tyres.co.uk.
