The Continental SportContact 6 is a next-level summer tyre with a focus on and the capability to perform at stable high speed. The Aralon 350 cap ply is Continental’s latest innovation and is made with an advanced composite of aramid and nylon cord ply. The SportContact 6 can maintain its shape with a top speed of 350 km/h. Its asymmetric tread has stiff cornering blocks and ribs. The central ribs carry cornering forces across the tread pattern. The Black Chili compound is Continental’s latest innovation in rubber for braking and cornering, with a water dispersion groove system.
This SportContact tyre replaced the ContiSportContact 5P and the SportContact 7 replaced this. The SSR version is a sidewall reinforced run flat tyre. After the sidewall has been damaged the tyre supports the vehicle and allows the driver to continue to travel for 80 km at 80 km/h. The distance and speed are under the recommendation of the vehicle manufacturer. At Tyres.co.uk we stock all variants of the Continental SportContact 6, including the SSR runflat versions.
