The EcoContact 6Q from Continental is a summer tyre for passenger cars designed to have a lesser rolling resistance. Continental explains the loss of energy from rolling tyres is reduced with the use of the Green Chili 2.0 compound. The EcoContact 6Q features an asymmetric design made of ribs and blocks. The tyre maintains its shape and stability when going around big bends on motorways and helps with the removal of water on to the outer edge of the tread pattern. The tyre’s design helps with even distribution of pressure across the tread and manages wear.
The EcoContact 6 tyres from Continental are said to have a rolling resistance that is 15% better than the ContiEcoContact 5 with an increased mileage of 20%. The Q suffix denotes the original equipment version for vehicle manufacturers.
