Product description & features

The EcoContact 6Q from Continental is a summer tyre for passenger cars designed to have a lesser rolling resistance. Continental explains the loss of energy from rolling tyres is reduced with the use of the Green Chili 2.0 compound. The EcoContact 6Q features an asymmetric design made of ribs and blocks. The tyre maintains its shape and stability when going around big bends on motorways and helps with the removal of water on to the outer edge of the tread pattern. The tyre’s design helps with even distribution of pressure across the tread and manages wear.

The EcoContact 6 tyres from Continental are said to have a rolling resistance that is 15% better than the ContiEcoContact 5 with an increased mileage of 20%. The Q suffix denotes the original equipment version for vehicle manufacturers. To maintain warranty compliance for original equipment tyres, it is advisable to replace Q-marked tyres with Q-marked tyres. Tyres.co.uk has the EcoContact 6Q available to order.

Tyre review for Continental Eco Contact 6Q 235/50R20 104T XL
These tyres are starting to show wear just like the originals did after only 18,000 miles. My electric car seems to cause more tyre wear due to the drivetrain, but I still think the Continental tyres are not worth it. I will monitor the new set closely before replacing them again.
