Continental Conti Hybrid HS5 Regional HGV Steer tyre adds less rolling resistance whilst increasing durability for longer service life for use on both motorway and urban routes. Continental's 5 rib design has continuous ribs, and the outer ribs are designed for the repeated steering and turning of a non-driven axle. Continental's AirKeep Innerliner incorporates an airtight rubber layer within the casing to help slow down the loss of pressure. The casing is designed to be regrooved and retreaded to help prolong the life of the tyre after the initial tread has worn down.
The HS5 has taken over from the Conti Hybrid HS3 in the steer axle range. Continental claims that the Conti Hybrid Generation 5 has a rolling resistance of 6% less than the Conti Hybrid Generation 4, and up to 20% more mileage. The 3PMSF and M+S sidewall markings show mud and snow designation and severe snow certification respectively, and the Conti Hybrid HD5 is the corresponding drive axle tyre. At Tyres.co.uk, we offer the Continental Conti Hybrid HS5.
