The Continental Conti Hybrid HD5 is a tyre for regional distribution with a focus on braking and acceleration. It includes a motorway and an A-road section. This Hybrid model distribution tyre is best for regional work and features a tread with a deep block. With the driving edge for axle treads, the deep block tread helps driving axles when operating and distributing power. Continental designed the HD5 with a 3D Matrix that helps the block retain edges for wet traction due to the driving axles. A speciality tread was built to withstand the abrasion from the deep treads for regional distribution work.
The Conti Hybrid HD5 is the drive-axle model for the 5th generation of the Conti Hybrid series, replacing the Conti Hybrid HD3 model. The Conti Hybrid HD5 models are marked with M+S and 3PMSF, which indicates the tyre is winter compliant and has also achieved the severe snow standard for winter traction.
