The City Star CS700 is a summer passenger tyre designed for temperate weather. CS700 employs wide grooves around the tyre to help channel surface water away from the tread to help combat aquaplaning. Smaller grooves and slits across the tread aid in the formation of damp-road braking and help control steering. Noise that develops at motorway speeds is mitigated by the spacing of the tread blocks. The casing is engineered to help with even distribution of pressure along the contact surface.
The design and layout of the CS700 is meant for the typical UK road for everyday driving. The concentric layering of the CS700 is meant to dissipate water and aid damp-road contact. Slits across the surface of the blocks help maintain road contact. The City Star CS700 is available at Tyres.co.uk.
