The Churchill GRB007 is designed to be used on passenger vehicles with a focus on dispersing water off the contact patch via longitudinal grooves. The channeling design of the tread aids in daily driving, and optimised for the predominant driving conditions of the UK. The primary grooves run down the centre of the tread and help to evacuate water from the contact patch. The slits that divide the smaller tread blocks create additional edges for grip in the presence of water on the roadway. The tread block design is meant to create even wear across the tread.
