  • C
Fuel Efficiency / Rolling Resistance: C

Rolling resistance has a direct impact on fuel consumption. A tyre's rolling resistance score ranges from A to E.

  • B
Wet Grip / Braking Performance: B

A tyre's wet grip capacity is expressed in Grades from A to E. The difference in braking distances between each grade is roughly 3m - an average car length.

  • 70B
Noise Emission / Exterior Noise: 70

The exterior noise grade of a tyre is expressed in decibels and accompanied by an external rolling noise rating - ranging from A (least exterior noise) to C (highest level of noise).

Product description & features

The Bridgestone Turanza T001 is a summer tyre designed primarily with the needs of wet braking and quieter driving on the motorway in mind. Its asymmetric tread features high angle braking blocks. Bridgestone's Resonator Grooves are used on the Turanza T001 to diminish the sound made as the tyre rotates on the tread. Flat Contact Patch construction improves the tread design by helping to achieve an even distribution of pressure, and therefore even tread wear.

The T001 uses the NanoPro-Tech rubber compound, which is intended to enhance wet braking by reducing an internal build-up of heat. The T001 was intended to replace the original Turanza ER300, and was followed in the Bridgestone line-up by the Turanza T005. The tyre is also available in XL construction and RFT run-flat versions. At Tyres.co.uk, we offer the run-flat version of the Bridgestone Turanza T001.

Highlights
