The Bridgestone Potenza RE070R is a high-performance summer tyre based on the R35 Nissan GT-R’s original equipment specification. The RE070R utilises silica-reinforced rubber and asymmetric tread design to aid the GT-R’s acceleration, braking, and cornering loads. The rubber’s silica improves the traction of the RE070R on both wet and dry roads. The outer tread of the RE070R is made up of large blocks to form a solid tread section to help with steering inputs during cornering.
The RE070R is the original equipment tyre on the R35 Nissan GT-R, so if you want to keep that factory spec on the GT-R, this is the tyre to get. The GT-R has a staggered set-up, meaning the front and rear wheels are different sizes, so the front and rear axles will need their respective sizes.
