Product description & features

The Avon ZT7 is a summer touring tyre focusing on braking performance on wet roads. It carries an A wet grip label and is made up of an asymmetric tread pattern and a high silica compound. Turn the car and the outer portion of the tread pattern stiffens due to larger, more solid blocks of tread. The inner portion of the tread has more slits in the blocks, and grooves that run circumferentially around the tyre aid in water evacuation.

The ZT7 is the successor to the ZT5 in Avon’s touring tyre line. Avon makes an XL version of the ZT7 with reinforced construction for cars that need extra loading capacity. XL is printed on the sidewall of those tyres. Like other Avon tyres, the ZT7 has a clearly marked inside and outside for fitting. Tyres.co.uk has a full stock of the reinforced XL version of the Avon ZT7.
