Designed for temperatures below 7°C. Summer tyre rubber hardens in the cold and loses grip, while a winter compound stays soft and holds the road in cold, wet and snowy conditions.
The Atlas Polarbear Van 2 is designed as a winter van tyre for transporting commercial loads. The Polarbear Van 2 has a reinforced casing designed for the demands of a working van. Van Polarbear 2 has an internal framework designed for commercial loads. The Polarbear Van 2 tread feature vertical and horizontal grooves designed for the movement of water and slush away from the contact patch of the tyre. The Polarbear Van 2 tread also features fine slits designed to provide more edges to the tread for improved traction on icy and snow covered surfaces.
Reinforced construction is the Polarbear Van 2’s main feature for winter use on vans used to carry heavy loads. The tread is designed to move slush and surface water away, and the fine slits provide edges for icy roads. We sell the Atlas Polarbear Van 2 at Tyres.co.uk.
