The Apollo Aspire 4G is a very high-performance summer tyre designed primarily for expediting the clearing of standing water. It incorporates 4 circumferential grooves within its asymmetric tread. Apollo have been clever in using a high-silica tread composition for improved adhesion to wet road surfaces. The blocks that comprise the outer tread have been designed to improve the tyre strength during cornering. The slit channels in the centre of the tread serve to increase the number of contact points with wet road surfaces.
The inner side pattern design is for water clearance. The outer side is the solid shoulder design for cornering support. The tyre design incorporates low rolling resistance which is the design for improved fuel economy. We have the Apollo Aspire 4G available on Tyres.co.uk.
