The APlus A919 is a low cost summer tyre designed for passenger cars. It is designed for the most common driving situations, in particular driving on wet roads. It has longitudinal grooves that expel water from the contact patch. The centre of the tread has interlocking blocks for straight line stability. The blocks have cornering support and the slits provide edge support for traction on wet roads.

The APlus A919’s tread pattern has a variable pitch for reduced noise on drive. The tread and sidewall design has been engineered for the urban impact driving on the A and B roads of the UK.
