Modern slavery & human trafficking statement
Our business & structure
Tyres.co.uk is a UK-based online tyre retailer providing consumers nationwide with access to competitively priced tyres and professional fitting services through a trusted network of independent fitting partners.
Our business operates primarily within the United Kingdom, with activities focused on digital retail, customer support, logistics coordination, and supplier management. We are committed to operating responsibly, transparently, and ethically across all areas of our business.
Our commitment
Tyres.co.uk has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, child labour, and human trafficking. We are committed to ensuring that these practices do not occur within our business operations or anywhere in our supply chain.
We believe that respecting human rights is fundamental to building a sustainable, trustworthy business. Acting ethically is not just a legal obligation — it is central to how we work with our employees, partners, and customers.
Our supply chain
Our supply chain primarily consists of tyre manufacturers and distributors, independent fitting centres and mobile fitting partners across the UK, and technology, logistics, and professional service providers.
Given the nature of our operations, the overall risk of modern slavery is considered low. However, we recognise that risks can still exist and take proactive steps to identify and mitigate them.
Policies & standards
Tyres.co.uk is committed to maintaining strong internal controls and ethical standards across all business relationships.
Our approach includes clear expectations for suppliers regarding human rights, lawful employment practices, health and safety, and ethical conduct. We operate a zero-tolerance stance towards any supplier or partner found to be involved in modern slavery or human trafficking.
Due diligence & risk management
We take reasonable and proportionate steps to assess and manage risks within our supply chain, including risk-based assessment of new suppliers, ongoing review of existing partners, and the right to request information or assurances where appropriate.
Where concerns are identified, we will work with suppliers to address issues or terminate relationships if required.
Training & awareness
We are committed to raising awareness of modern slavery within our organisation. Relevant team members are provided with guidance on identifying potential indicators of modern slavery, understanding escalation procedures, and responding appropriately to concerns.
Training and awareness initiatives are reviewed and strengthened as the business evolves.
Whistleblowing & reporting
Tyres.co.uk encourages a transparent and open “speak up” culture. Employees, suppliers, and third parties are encouraged to report concerns without fear of retaliation.
All reports are handled confidentially and investigated appropriately. Whistleblowers are protected, and any form of victimisation is not tolerated.
Monitoring & continuous improvement
We regularly review our policies, procedures, and supplier relationships to ensure ongoing effectiveness and compliance. As our business grows, we remain committed to strengthening our approach to ethical sourcing and responsible business practices.
