History

The history of Triangle Tyres is interlinked with the formation of the Triangle Group – the overarching enterprise which sits above both Triangle Tyres and DiamondBack Tyres. The Triangle Group was founded in 1976 and originally produced and sold small tyre to the street-sweeper carts in Indonesia, before becoming a competitive manufacturer in 1993 under new management.

Since then, the Triangle Group – and Triangle Tyres by association – has become a firm fixture in the md-range market, specialising in research and development that tests the latest tyre technology for futureproofing the tyre industry.

And a big part of this lies in the expansion of the Triangle Tyres range outside of the passenger car market. In 2020, Triangle Tyres developed a radial tyre for aircraft use, demonstrating just how important consistent development is across the Chinese tyre enterprise.
