The Otani Tyres story starts well before 1986. The concept and company which became Otani Tyres was first launched by Dr. Kiatichai in the form of a small retail store selling his own range of tyres. Dr Kiatichai spent years developing a series of tyre solutions, including a retread factory to breathe life back into worn tyres, before launching the Otani Tyre brand in 1986.
Otani Tyres began to be exported in 1987, with original equipment supply to the Kubota Corporation expanding the brand’s profile in 2002. In the years since, Otani Tyres has continued to increase its range of both industrial and automotive tyres, with 2017 marking the launch of Otani’s first passenger car tyres.
Throughout its varied history, Otani Tyres has continually leaned on innovation and comprehensive tyre testing to produce tyres which are durable and robust, but which are also engineered for high performance in different conditions.
