History

Mileking Tyres was founded around 2015 under the ownership of the Acmex group, based in Qingdao in China. Because of the Acmex Group’s global reach and distribution, Mileking Tyres is a brand that balances quantity across production with quality – manufacturing tyres for different terrains and conditions.

One of the notable “wins” in the Mileking Tyres history is its exposure to leading research and development, under the ownership of the Acmex Group. With Acmex owning a series of tyre brands, including other names Haida, GM Rover, Firelion, Transking, and Milever, all tyres are engineered with the same performance attributes and quality features – despite all fitting into different corners of the tyre market.

Mileking’s Position on the Tyre Market

Mileking is considered a budget brand on the tyre market, that offers a balance between the affordability of tyres and how reliable they are. While Mileking is not recognised as offering premium solutions to drivers, like brands including Michelin, Goodyear and Continental, what Mileking does offer is aggressive tread designs which maximise grip, as well as strength and stability through the different seasons.

When comparing Mileking against other tyres, including more expensive and premium brands, one thing that particularly stands out is Mileking’s approach to off-road traction and safety. These tyres may not be the best performing fitments for high speed and road racing, but they do blend precision handling and comfort across off-road trails and terrains.

Some of the other benefits recognised by drivers include low rolling resistance and a smoother driving experience, the variety across the full range and diversity of tyre options for different requirements, the affordable pricing, and of course the excellent grip.

These are tyres that are designed with everyday driving in mind. They don’t prioritise performance or speed – rather, they provide stability and safety for regular journeys, commutes, and off-road adventures.

Popular Mileking Tyre Models and Collections

From off-road capabilities to mud terrain tyres, reliable everyday tyres, and even tyres for specific seasons, Mileking boasts a diverse range for drivers to choose from.

One of the most popular models is the Mileking MK878 R/T rugged terrain tyre, that is designed to handle the complexities of different surfaces. This tyres sits somewhere between an all-terrain tyre and a mud terrain tyre, with reinforced sidewalls and a sophisticated tread pattern that can handle generic road driving while also supporting off-road driving.

Another popular and similarly versatile model is the Mileking MK657 all-season tyre, which blends the design features and benefits of summer and winter designs to create a year-round solution for temperate climates. The MK869 LT offers the same level of versatility in seasonal use but is built for much larger and heavier vehicles.

A few other notable tyre models include the MK927 high-performance summer tyres, the Mileking Run Spirit summer tyres, and the stabilising winter tyres like the Mileking MK617.

Browsing the Mileking Catalogue by Season
With Mileking Tyres another budget brand that’s active across different terrain and condition markets, one of the easiest ways to pick apart its range and identify the right tyres for you is by season. This means considering the local climate you will be navigating and the needs of your tyres – from traction to stability, strength, and precision handling.

All-season tyres are a stable and reliable option for temperate climates like the UK, offering sufficient traction for winter roads with added sipes for water dispelling and dry performance in summer. The best Mileking all-season tyres include model like the MK657 and the selection of all terrain and off-road tyres which are strong with superior grip.

Summer tyres need to be able to navigate wet and dry roads, supporting wet grip and dry performance in one. Many have reinforced sidewalls that mimic the structure of run-flat tyres to uphold strength under the pressure of high temperatures.

The Mileking summer range includes a selection of tyres like the MK927 for high-performance driving, the MK919, MK667, and MK927 SP tyres.

Winter tyres are some of the most sophisticated in both tread design and construction, with enhanced grip on slippery roads owing to the deep grooves and stable tread blocks – produced using a high silica compound rubber material. The Mileking winter range spans models like the MK617, the MK687, and the MK677.
