History

Falken tyres is a Japanese company, which exists under the ownership of the Sumitomo Rubber Industries brand. It was first launched in Japan in 1983 and has since become a reliable source of tyres for passenger cars and trucks, as well as UHP (ultra-high performance) tyres.

Over the years, Falken has been connected with other tyre manufacturers under its parent company, including Dunlop tyres and Goodyear. It is not recognised as a reputable standalone tyre brand, specialising in high performance tyres which use the innovation of motorsport and race car development. What’s more, Falken tyres is one of the tyre brands ranked for its OE (original equipment) connection with several vehicle manufacturers.
